Hello my name is Karen and I am a mother with 4 children aged 23, 21, 18 and 14. I have always been very maternal and adore babies and children and consider myself to be a very compassionate and caring person. Knowing the pressures of juggling life it gives me great satisfaction in helping families with commitments or those who just simply need some time out. I currently babysit a two year old little boy and his five year old sister one day per week since they were babies. I also care for a 2 year old boy once a week since he was 7 months old at my home so my house is equipt with the required baby essentials if this is what you prefer. I also care for children on a casual basis. As well as having experience with children of all ages I worked part time in administration in a private girl’s college for 9 years and currently work on a casual basis at a hospital on the maternity ward so I have an abundance of experience from newborns to older children. I am a reliable and dependable person and I am always willing to rearrange my schedule whenever possible to help you out even if last minute. Being a caring and devoted mother myself I understand the anxieties parents can have leaving their baby/child so I am more than happy for you to feel contact me to have a chat or a coffee. I hold a Victorian driver's licence, CPR and first aid certificate, triple COVID vaccination certificate as well as a working with children's check.
