Hi, I’m Abbey and I grew up in Western NSW. I love the country life, enjoy being surrounded by my family and hanging out with my friends. My mum is a registered nurse of 22 years and has blessed me with many vital skills and lessons. I’m currently studying at the University of Wollongong pursuing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Over the past 14 months (including gap year) I worked as a teachers aid specialising in working with children with special needs from year 7 to year 12. Due to my hands on experience with children in school, I have the knowledge to assist with homework and school assessments. I’ve developed a special connection to children and would love to continue working with them this year. I am patient, reliable, attentive and nurturing. I am certified in first aid and CPR, have my working with children's check and have a food safety course certification. I’m responsible, organised, clean and know how to handle a child’s behaviour and attitudes. Additionally, I’m comfortable with pets, cooking and chores.
